Bodil Cervone
President
The owner, Mrs. Bodil Johansson Cervone, and her leadership, sets the tone for Scandinavian Builders. Bodil has over 10 years of management and business development experience in a variety of industries. As President and owner in Scandinavian Builders, Inc. Bodil’s responsibility to the company is to guide the business development activities and the project management, as well as strategize the continuous improvements of the delivery process
A native of Sweden, Bodil received her education & training in both nursing & construction there. She grew up in and worked in the agriculture and construction environment. She has continued to expand her studies & training in Construction, Insurance& Business management. She has completed a Financial Management course at the University of Virginia as well as passed the Florida State General Contractors exam.
Her Qualifications include but not limited to: General Contractors license, Leadership & business management, International Marketing & contract negotiations, Construction principals & practices, Software skills & experience in Windows, Microsoft Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Exchange. Bodil is also Bi lingual in English and Swedish.
Prior to forming Scandinavian Builders Inc. Bodil was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Global from 1994 - 2004. Bodil also worked with V.J Flood Inc, from 2001-2005 and in Sweden had extensive experience with top corporations utilizing her management skills.
Co-owner and Vice President, Valentine Flood, has over twenty
years of progressively, responsible experience in interior build outs,
including overall project management, construction management, equipment
design, design management, construction, supervision, specifications
development, field investigation, and maintenance supervision. Since
1991, Mr. Flood has owned various businesses specializing in the
completion of numerous Bank of America, Bank United and other numerous
corporation build outs. Mr. Flood has also implemented training courses
for new recruits which in turn has sped up organizational profitability.
Colette Courtney is Scandinavian Builders' Director of Finance and Human Resources since January of 2005. Her background is in office management, finance, and human resources. Colette is a detail oriented individual and a team player. She is a native of Ireland where she obtained a National Diploma and Certificate in Business Studies from the Institute of Technology in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Colette also worked over ten years in the Agribusiness Division of Kerry Group PLC.
